June Favourites

These are my favourites for June.

No7 Mink Eyeshadow, its a nice champagney shade I love to wear it all over the lid, perfect for everyday.
NYC Union Square palette, I don't use the purple very often but I use the light brown on the lid and the shimmery darker brown in the crease and the pale cream colour as a highlight, I don't really use the primer or illuminator but I think this palette is great if your starting out in makeup it has everything.
NYC Cheek Glow in West Side Wine it's a pale pink it's great if you don't want to wear much makeup.
BC Body Collection Blusher set in Dusty Pink it's great because it has a range of pink shades and you can mix them to make a shade that you like.
High Lights by Technic obviously to highlight my cheeks, I think it's a dupe for Benefit High Beam and will suit everyone.
Natural Collection Lipstick in Rose Bud this is my all time favourite lipstick from Natural Collection I wear it a lot of the time it's a nice pink not too light or dark.
Natural Collection Lipstick in Berry Sorbet it's a dark pinky red it's great for both day and night time and if you don't like a bold red I would recommend this.
Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick shade 19 this is from the Spring collection its a pinky brown and long lasting I really love the Kate Moss lipsticks.

Swatches of all the eyeshadows all very pigmented, the highlight from the NYC palette is hard to see on the skin but it is a nice highlight it's the forth swatch.

Swatches of all the blushes, they also nicely pigmented the first shade on the left is very pale from the BC set and the last on the right is the NYC blush and is hard to see but it is pigmented just very light.

Swatch of the High Lights it's blended but you can see the shimmer a very nice highlight.

Swatches of the lipsticks on the left Rose Bud my favourite, middle Berry Sorbet a lovely colour and right Kate Moss shade 19 a nice everyday colour.

Natural Everyday Makeup Look

This is a natural makeup look I sometimes wear, when I don't want to wear too much makeup.

All the products you need- Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25 hour foundation, Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer, Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Transparent, Natural Collection eyeshadow in Milk Chocolate, Asteroid, Natural Collection duo in Mink/Sable I don't think it's available anymore but you only need the highlight, Rimmel London Scandal Eyes mascara, Collection 2000 xxl Volume Sensation, Rimmel London eyebrow pencil Dark Brown, BC Body Collection blush set in Dusky Pink, Natural Collection lipstick in Sandcastle.

Apply your foundation, concealer and powder.

Prime your eyes with primer or concealer, apply milk chocolate to your lid, asteroid in the crease and use the highlight from mink/sable and apply to the brow bone and lighten the eyeshadows, then apply mascara.

Then I lightly used the eyebrow pencil.

Then apply blush, I mixed the two lighter shades of pinks and applied to the cheeks to give a bit of colour.

Now apply sandcastle lipstick it's a nudey pink and is very moisturising on the lips.

The look is finished.

What do you think to the look, would you wear it, leave a comment below.

My Everyday Make Up Brushes

Makeup Brushes!

For foundation I use the Real Techniques Stippling Brush it makes the foundation go on flawlessly.

For powder I use the Real Techniques Buffing Brush, It really blends the powder into the foundation to get a matte finish and I use to make sure all my makeup is blended evenly when I've finished my makeup.

For blush I use this brush that's from Primark I got it years ago, so I don't know if it's still available but its the perfect shape for my cheeks to apply blush.

I use the elf eyeshadow brush to apply colour to the lid and a highlight under the brow bone, it's very good for packing on colour.

I used the elf crease brush obviously for the crease, it fits perfectly into my crease.

I use the elf blending brush obviously to blend out my eyeshadow and it helps to lighten the eyeshadow, which makes the eyeshadow look amazing.

These are all my favourite brushes and I use them everyday. I use other brushes if I'm wearing a different look but these are what I use most.

What make up brushes do you use, leave a comment below.

Review On The Benefit Samples

I recently bought Glamour magazine for the Benefit samples and here's a review of the products. I've been using them for nearly a week.

First the Bad Gal lash mascara, I think it's amazing, it lengthens and volumises the eyelashes and doesn't clump, it makes your eyelashes look amazing, it's a dark black. I highly recommend it.

The Pore Fissions, I'm only 17 so I don't really have big pores but it is supposed to minimise pores, but I put it on before my foundation and makes my skin feel silky soft and helps the foundation stay on longer.

The That Gal Brightening Primer, it's very pinky and too dark on my skin as a primer but it makes a perfect glowing highlight and is long lasting. Darker skin tones may be able to use it as a primer. It does really brighten up your face.

It's only a short review there isn't much to say about the products but there all fantastic.

What do you think to the Benefit products leave a comment below.

Small Haul

I recently went and bought a few makeup bits.

Technic High Lights £1.99, I think it's supposed to be the dupe for Benefit High Beam, L'oreal Paris Chrome Intensity Eyeshadow now called Color Appeal- 184 Cacao Mania £5.99, Maybelline New York Myshadow it doesn't have a name but its a brown with orangey, purpley shimmer £1.99, Natural Collection lipstick in Berry Sorbet £1.99, Natural Collection lipstick in Coral Shimmer, Natural Collection lipgloss in Sherbet Fizz £1.99 and Avon Moisture Seduction lipgloss in Sweet Clementine £7 I think and I love the packaging its so cute with the swirls.

Here is a swatch of the Technic High Lights and when it its blended you can't really see on the picture but it gives a nice shimmery glow.

Here is a swatch of the eye shadows on the left L'oreal Cacao Mania and on the right the Maybelline New York eyeshadow.

Here is a swatch of the lip products on the left Natural Collection Berry Sorbet then Natural Collection Coral Shimmer then Natural Collection Sherbet fizz lipgloss and Avon Sweet Clementine lipgloss.

I love Natural Collection lipsticks there cheap and have nice colours and moisturising on the lips only downside is the cheap packaging and sometimes the lipstick breaks.

Products I Regret Buying

These are only a few things I've bought and regret buying them.

17 hide and chic anti fatigue foundation in soft ivory £6.29. This was the lightest shade and it was still too dark and orangey for me and when I tried to apply it to my face it went streaky. I've had other foundations and products from 17 and I love them it's just this foundation. I gave the foundation to my sister and she mixes it with other foundations and it works fine for her. The packaging is good because you get all the foundation from the container.

Elf studio matte lip colour in coral £3.50. I love Elf cosmetics this shade just doesn't suit me, I gave it to my sister and she's more tan than me and it looks amazing on her.

Elf mineral lipstick in natural nymph £3.50. This was too pale for me, I like to wear nudes but this just washed me out it might worker better on different people.

Maybelline expert wear blush 77 rose £5.19. I have a lot of products from Maybelline it's one of my favourite brands but this blush isn't pigmented at all, you have to keep getting a lot of the product just to get the colour but it's still such a light colour it's not very noticeable.

Colourworks bronzer not sure on price got it in a collection at Christmas. The bronzer has big chunks of glitter in it which I hate, I don't mind shimmer in products. It is very pigmented but the colour looks like a horrible brown and looks awful on my cheeks.

Natural Collection eyeliner it doesn't say a shade or name but its green £1.99 it's very hard to apply to your waterline and when you apply it to your waterline it doesn't last very long but it is a beautiful colour.

MAC eyebrow pencil in lingering £11.50 the person at MAC matched me up wrong the colour is too light for my eyebrows but it is long lasting and is a good formulation.

What products do you regret buying leave a comment below

Is there anything you want me to do on my blog let me know

Kate Moss- Rimmel London Spring Collection Lipsticks

I recently went to Boots and got a lipstick from the Kate Moss Spring Collection.

I have, had a couple lipsticks from the normal collection and I absolutely love them.

They are very pigmented and long lasting.

I always love the sleek black packaging, instead of Kate in red it's in a barbie pink which is really cute.

I have shade 16, a very beautiful pinky coral which is great for spring.

They have four new shades in the collection 16,19,20,22 they are also beautiful shades

At Boots you can buy the lipsticks for £3.99 or at Superdrug for £5.49 for 3 for 2.

Has anyone else tried the lipsticks out, what do you think?

This was requested by Pretty Little Lives you should go check out her blog it's amazing :)

Firstly I applied an eyelid primer you can also use concealer as a primer instead.
Then I applied the brown third on along on the bottom on my lid, then applied the mahogany brown third on along on the top row in the crease and then the fourth on along on the bottom in the crease to lighten it up then applied the first on, on the bottom row as a highlight underneath my brow.

Then I applied liquid eyeliner I used 17 liquid eyeliner, you don't have to put eyeliner on it's up to you.

Then apply mascara, I used my favourite mascara the Scandal Eyes by Rimmel London.
