Q and A

Hey lovelies, I just wanted to say a massive thank you to all, I reached 200 followers on my blog yesterday and I was so happy to know that people liked my blog and I appreciate all of you.

I was going to do a tag but Beautyblogpage suggested I do a Q and A so I thought I would do it instead, so I asked on twitter for questions.

- My go to foundation? I would probably say my Rimmel London 25 Hour Foundation but I'm always looking for new foundations to try, if you have any suggestions leave a comment below.

- Worst beauty habit? I would say I use makeup wipes to take my makeup off and I know that wipes don't get rid of all my makeup.

- What do I swear by for my skin care routine? I will cleanse, tone and moisturise and it will get rid of any makeup or inpurities on your face, so it will help you from getting spots.

- Which drugstore makeup brands do you like the most? I like MUA for there eyeshadows, blushers and lipsticks, Revlon for lip products and foundation, Rimmel London for foundation and lipsticks, L'oreal lip products, blushers and eyeshadows, N07 I like most of there products.

- Would you ever start making YouTube videos? I think I will do in the future but I think I need more confidence and a good camera but don't know if I would be any good at it.


- Whats your favourite moisturiser? I don't really have a favourite most moisturisers work for me so I would say either Simple or Neutrogena.

- Did you enjoy school/college? When I was at school I did like it apart from when I was bullied then I hated it, I didn't like college that much when I was doing A Levels because I found them very hard but I like college now doing Health and Social Care BTEC.

- What subjects do you take? Health and Social Care BTEC.

- Whats your favourite mascara and makeup brushes? My favourite mascara would be the Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Mascara and I love Real Technique makeup brushes.

- What are your favourite type of giveaways? I like makeup giveaways.

- Do you have a good eye for bargains? Yes I do I love bargains because being a student I can't afford expensive things.

- What's your favourite perfume? I love ghost perfume.

- When did you start blogging? I'm quite a new blogger only started in May.

- What inspired you to blog? I always loved watching YouTube video's and reading blogs and I've always loved beauty so I thought I would try blogging myself and now I love blogging.

- What advice would you give to bloggers? I always think you should be yourself and put your personality into your blog, give trueful reviews and post clear, big pictures.

- Top 5 bloggers? I have loads of favourites so I can't really choose 5 and I think everyone has an amazing blog because there all individual and unique to you.

So! Kitsch Jewellery Review

Hey lovelies, today is a review of some amazing jewellery, the lovely Clair the owner of So! Kitsch  kindly sent to me. Clair and me have become good friends and she is such a nice person.

All her jewellery is handmade which I think is great, all her pieces are quirky and unique.

I love this scrabble ring I've wanted one for ages but never found them, there personalised with your initial on, its re adjustable so it will fit everyone. There only £4.

M&M earrings, I loved these and Clair knew me so well and knew purple was my favourite colour, they come in red, orange, green, yellow, brown and black, there so cute. There also £4.

She has other jewellery- hello kitty earrings and ring, lego earrings and ring, card earrings, bow earrings, cupcake earrings and ring, rose studs, canned bracelet, seeing star bracelet, kitsch bracelets, heart earrings.

Lush Bubblegum Lip Scrub

Hey lovelies, if you saw in my recent haul I had the lush bubblegum lip scrub and I asked if you wanted a review and you did so I decided to do it.

I have the seen the lip scrub for ages and saw reviews on them and I didn't know whether to buy it or not because it is a bit pricey for £5.25 but I did buy it and I'm so glad I did.

It is perfect for these winter months when you have dry, flaky lips, it keeps your lips in good condition and helps make your lips look nice when you apply lipstick.

There is bubblegum, popcorn, and mint julips, I smelt them all and I thought bubblegum smelt the nicest so I decided to buy this one and I know a lot of people rave about bubblegum and the popcorn one.

I think it is quite pricey for the lips scrub and I've seen it's easy to make yourself your own lip scrub all you just need sugar and oil and whatever flavouring you want to put in so it would be the cheaper option and do exactly the same job.

All you need to do is apply it all over the lips, then in circular motion on the lips rub it in, it helps get rid of the flaky skin and then the rest of the lip scrub left on the lips you can lick it off and it tastes very nice and then apply a lip balm to keep your lips nice and soft and in good condition.

Overall I really love this product and is an essential in having the perfect lips.

Hey lovelies, I found Bekl bracelets through twitter and though it was a great campaign so I wanted to get involved so Rebecca very kindly sent me a bracelet. Ikandi Relaunch

Hello Lovelies, India asked me to help get involved in a relaunch post for Ikandi so I’m doing a post for them.

The current website has a nice layout, very modern and girly. It is easy to navigate and find what you are looking for. Clear pictures and good descriptions of each piece of jewellery. Small Haul

Hey Lovelies, I haven't done a haul in a while and I recently bought a few things over the past couple of weeks so I thought I would do a post on what I got.

Clothes

I got all these tops from International, the cross top was £11.99 i absolutely love this top and so does my sister she's currently taken it out with her, red and blue tops two for £10 these tops are quite see through and thin so you need to wear a vest underneath these are all casual tops and I will wear with jeans.

Jewellery

I like these sort of bracelets and have quite a few now these were from a little stall in my town centre and they were only £2.50 which is a great price, I think there really cute and I'm sure you get these sort of bracelets from anywhere.

Makeup

I really wanted to try the lush bubblegum lip scrub for ages I heard a lot of good reviews about it and wanted to try it for myself, so far I'm really liking it and might do a review on it if you want me to just leave a comment if you want me to, it was £5.25. maybelline color sensational cream gloss in red love £6.19 it was just an impulse buy I have the red lipgloss from mua but I just decided to buy it. I've always wanted to try something from nyx  so when I went into t k maxx and saw only a few products from nyx so I decide to buy the smokey look kit it was £5.99 which is a reasonable price you get 9 shadows and 2 lip products, I've tried some of the eyeshadows already they are pigmented and quite long lasting, if you want a review or look with the palette let me know in a comment and I will do.

Hope you enjoyed this little haul, I don't think I will be buying anything else for a while because I'm saving for Christmas and I might be going to London on a college trip for the day in December.

Random Facts:
1. I have naturally wave hair but I do like to straighten and curl my hair.
2. I want to be a Primary School Teacher.
3.I have braces.
4.I love watching TV shows and films.
5. I can't go a day without listening to music, I absolutely love music.
6. I've been bullied a few times, it was the worse time in my life but made me stronger and the person I am today.
7. I have a scar under my nose you probably cant see on pictures cause I use makeup but I fell off my bike when I was about 5 or 6 and injured a lot of my face.
8. Makeup always makes me feel more confident about myself.
9. I used to be really shy at school and hardly talk to people and never want to read aloud or answer teachers questions but since going to college and not worrying what people think about me and not having the bullies from school I've become more talkative to everyone.
10. At school I was really good at playing Keyboards/Piano I never had any lessons but I used to be able play backing tracks to songs and make my own up but I haven't played the Piano in a few years.
11. I have trust issues, it takes me a long while till I can open to people but I don't always tell them everything because of being afraid to get hurt.

2. Designer or High Street? i like both but i mostly buy high street so high street.

4. What is your GO TO Emergency food? i don't really have a go to emergency food but i would probably say toast.
5. What does your beauty regime consist of? moisturising and applying makeup on a day to day basis, other times cleanse, tone and moisturise.

October Favourites

Hey lovelies, It's October 31st so Happy Halloween and have fun tonight if your going out.

These are my favourites for this month, this month has flown by.

17 Wild Curls Mascara, I've had this for a while but only recently started using this mascara it's amazing for separating and lengthening your lashes.

Avon 3 in 1 Lip Product- Solar Rose this was in my last post, I love this product because it's 3 in 1 to having the perfect lips, it has a lip liner, lipstick and lipgloss and it's a lovely pink shade and very pigmented.

MUA Heaven and Earth Eyeshadow Palette, I've always loved this palette but this month I've been using it more, you can create different looks a neutral eye or smokey brown look, there all shimmery and very pigmented.

L'oreal Paris- Rose Santal, I mostly mention this blush, it's the perfect pink blush for my fair skin so I highly recommend it and it's pigmented and long lasting.

MUA Blusher- Shade 3, this would be perfect for any skin tone, it's really pigmented and a peachy colour and really inexpensive.

Maybelline Color Tattoo- On and On Bronze, I've had this for a while and started using it again, it's a bronzey brown colour and very long lasting and perfect under eyeshadows or on it's own and I love the colour.

Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick- Shade 19, I've been wearing this shade nearly everyday it's a pinky colour it likes your lip colour but better and a bit darker, it's really pigmented, moisturising and long lasting, i have a picture on my instragram ashleighcarr24, my latest picture of me wearing the lipstick if you want to look.

Collection Cream Puff- Fairy Cakes, it's an orangey/coral, it's moisturising, very pigmented and very long lasting, I love these cream puffs highly recommend.

Rimmel London Eyeshadow Quad- Smokey Brun, I've had this ages but I love it, it's perfect for an everyday natural look.

Non Beauty Favourites

Songs- One Direction- Little Things, Taylor Swift- Red love most of the songs on her album, Kelly Clarkson- Catch My Breath.

 TV Shows- Merlin started after Doctor Who finished, watch Merlin from the start, Vampire Diaries love this show my all time favourite, Glee love this too, can't wait till it comes back on in November. 

Food- Porridge warms me up now its colder.

Products Worth Hype

Hey lovelies, I saw this video on JDRMakeup channel a while go and thought it was a good idea so I decided to do it as a blog post, you should definitely go subscribe to her channel she makes great YouTube videos.

Avon Pro 3 in 1 Lip Wand- I have the shade Solar Rose, I don't think you hear much about Avon as brand only from Pixiwoo, I love this product because it's a 3 in 1 product you have a lip liner, lipstick and lipgloss to make the perfect lips and I really love this shade.

Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipsticks- I know you hear a bit about them but I absolutely love these lipsticks, there pigmented, moisturising, matte and long lasting. I really want to try the new matte collection which I think I will soon.

MUA Mosaic Blush- English Rose, JDRMakeup mentioned this blush and I have to agree it's a great blush it is shimmery but it really brightens your cheeks up and it's really inexpensive.

L'oreal Paris- Rose Sandal I love this blush because it's the perfect pink shade for me because I'm quite pale and there is darker pinks to suit people's skin colour, it's matte, pigmented and long lasting.

Accessorize Baked Blush- Scandal, this is also a shimmery shade and brightens up your cheeks, it's a pink with gold running through it.

Models Own Blackberry Lipbalm- I don't think I've heard these being mentioned but I think there great for people who don't want to wear lipstick but want colour, there is a variety of shades to suit everyone and you can wear them as pigmented as you want, there also great for winter if you have dry lips because there very moisturising.

NYC Lipstick-Fragile Pink- it's a beautiful pink shade that I think will suit most people, it's really inexpensive and pigmented and long lasting.

Technic- High Lights, I've mentioned this before in other posts it's really inexpensive and a dupe for Benefit High Beam, it's quite long lasting and gives you a nice glow.

L'oreal Paris Glam Shine Fresh Lipgloss- Aqua Watermelon, I love these lipglosses because they aren't stick, they come in every colour shade, there really glossy and perfect over any lipstick.

NYC Liquid Lipshine- Fashion Ave Fuchsia, this is like a lipstick and lipgloss in one, it's really pigmented, long lasting and glossy, there really inexpensive as well.

Elf Eyeshadow Brushes, these are really inexpensive brushes but they get the job done to create nice eye looks.

Ebay 88 Palette- I only have this palette but I want the other palette's, this palette is great because it has every colour you need to create any sort of look, you can have the matte or shimmery palette, it's really pigmented and is perfect for travelling.
