Bloggers Fun Day Meetup

Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a nice weekend, I was going to do this post at the beginning of the week but I had a lot to do and didn't have time but it's here now. Last weekend I went to the Bloggers Fun Day at Handmade Burger Co at Valley Centertainment in Sheffield. Billie organised this event and she was so welcoming as soon as we came in even though she was nervous, she didn't need to be she did an amazing job and it was fun for all the bloggers.
We had Lush Meadowhall and the two ladies were really lovely and informative, they talked about their massage bars, I have never really used these products so it was nice to learn about them. They then went on to give hand and arm massages I've had one before so I didn't this time but I know from experience they are really nice and relaxing and leave your skin feeling soft. They also talked a little about the Lush Spa's which sound amazing and I've never been to one but I think I might have to when I have some money. They also taked a bit about their perfumes too.
Handmade Burger Co very generously let us have the food, sides and refill of drinks completely free which so nice of them and their food was just amazing, just looking at these pictures it's making my mouth water it was absolutely delicious. Billie had someone make cupcakes for the meetup and they were really nice too.

It was so nice to meet some new bloggers from Sheffield that I had never met before and chatting with some bloggers I had seen at previous events and have talked to before, everyone was so lovely and easy to talk to.
Then we got the personalised tote bags from The Blogger Programme with lots of lovely goodies including Elf Vouchers and Products, Your Tea, Leaflight Moisturising Cream, Personal Planner Voucher, Merumaya Deluxe Sample Set, Halo Eye Makeup Wipes, Skinetica Toner, Into The Red CD from a Local Band, Nourish Celluar Skin Perfection, Nanshy Blending Brush and Lyonsleaf Beauty Balm.

The meetup was so relaxing and I got the chance to talk to most of the other bloggers and we all had fun and thoroughly enjoyed the day. A big thank you to Billie for organising this lovely meetup.

Favourite Shade Lipsticks

Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a good day. Today I've got a lipstick post on some of my favourite shades.
I'm definitely a lipstick junkie and love switching up what shades I wear. I have so many lipsticks and here are some of my favourite shades.

I have a lot of pink shades they are definitely what I wear most so it was hard to pick just one pink shade but I went for the Revlon Colorburst Matte Balm in Elusive it's a gorgeous everyday pink shade that you can wear with any look. Revlon Colorburst Balms have been a favourite of mine since they were released they are pigmented and long lasting, the Matte Balms are slightly more drying than the regular and lacquer balms but overall they are an amazing lip product. If you want to see a collection of my pink lipsticks let me know but I do worn you I have lots.

MAC Russian Red is my go to, all time favourite red. If I'm ever wearing a red it is usually this lipstick. Russian Red is matte but its not drying at all, it's really pigmented and lasts really well. It's a beautiful brick red that I think will suit any skin tone. I think everyone loves a MAC lipstick, I certainly do.

17 Mirror Shine in Beehive is my favourite nude it's a lovely pink nude and isn't too pale for my skin tone and I can pull it off. I find with nudes it sometimes hard for me to find a shade that will suit me. I also love the L'Oreal Cheryl Nude and it was a tuff one to pick between these two but they are both pinky nudes. Beehive is so moisturising and lasts quite well but isn't overly pigmented.

Next up is MAC Rebel this is a gorgeous plumy berry shade and I absolutely love it, this is a great Autumn/Winter shade. It looks really dark in the tube but it isn't that dark and it will suit all skin tones. Rebel is a Satin finish and isn't drying at all, it's really pigmented and long lasting. I don't have many purple shades but this is my all time favourite.

Last up is Bourjois Colourboost in Peach on the Beach, I don't have many peachy/orange shades because I don't think many really suit me but this a lovely peachy pink shade that does suit me. The Colourboosts are so moisturising but still pigmented but they don't last as long as some of the other lip products I've mentioned.

What are some of your favourite shade lipsticks?

Wedding OOTD

Hey Lovelies, over a week ago my parents got married after 25 years of being together, it was so surreal I never thought they would after being together for so long. Anyway I wanted to do an outfit post because I loved the dress I bought, I didn't include pictures of my family because I didn't know if they wanted to be on here.
This dress is from Debenhams and was on sale for only £50, the blazer was from Missguided for £18, I wore some black heels that were from Matalans ages ago and my bag is from Primark.

I love the one shoulder design and the pattern of the dress, I think it is really elegant and the blazer gives a splash of colour to the outfit, so it's not all dark and it's a nice smart blazer that I can wear for interviews and it's a nice colour.

I kept my makeup quite minimal, I used pinks and browns on my eyes but really blended it out and had winged eyes, peachy cheeks and a everyday neutral pink lip.

The wedding was really magical and such an amazing day and me and my sister got to be witnesses and sign the registry.

House of Fraser-Valentines Gift Guide For Her

Hey Lovelies, hope your all alright and having a good day. Today I have a Valentines Gift Guide for Her, sorry for the photo's not being the best quality but I had to use my sisters boyfriends IPhone 6 for the pictures because it was the best quality I had because I let my parents take my camera on there honeymoon but I wanted to put up this post for you. I got this from House of Fraser* to be included in the gift guide.

This Benefit Primping with the Stars Makeup Kit, is a gorgeous little kit it includes, They`re Real mini, Stay Don't Stray mini, Benetint medium, Some Kind-A Gorgeous Medium, Girl Meets Pearl mini and Porefessional mini. I have tried the They're Real mascara and Porefessional before and they have been favourites of mine for ages. I love these products, the mascara lengthens and volumises my lashes without clumping up and the primer leaves my skin feeling amazing and helps make my makeup last longer and I've heard good things about these other products in the kit. Any girl that loves beauty will love this kit, it has mini products that you can take on the go easily and what you need in your makeup bag. This kit is £26.50.
Us girls love perfume and smelling nice, so even of these perfumes would be a good option and are quite popular and are both floral scents. Roses De Chloe is £56 for the 50ml bottle and the Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream is £39 for the 30ml. If there is any other perfumes that you know your girlfriend/wife likes then definitely go for that.
This Pandora Silver Bracelet Heart-Shaped Clasp is simple but elegant and I think a lot of girls would like it and when they wear it, it will be sentimental and when they see it, it will remind them of you and this gorgeous gift you got them. This bracelet is £55.
Last up is the MAC Mineralize Rich Lipsticks, all of us girls that love beauty, love MAC lipsticks, I've not tried this formulation of lipstick but all the other MAC lipsticks I've tried I've loved. A pink everyday shade is a good shade to go for as they will wear it more and suit most skin tones. These lipsticks are £22.

I think for sure most girls love flowers and chocolates so if you know their favourite type of flowers and chocolates pick them up for them.

If your finding it hard to pick something out for your girl, definitely go check out the House of Fraser website for ideas.

Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in Sin

Hey Lovelies, sorry for being a bit MIA on the blog, if you follow me on twitter you will know I have been super busy and so my blog had to take a bit of back seat. Anyway I've got a new post today on the Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin.
I got this Primer Potion at the blogger meetup I helped organised back in October, I've had so many products to try out and I like to give them a good go before putting up a post. I've never tried the Primer Potions and I've heard so many good things, so I was so excited to try it.

This Sin Primer Potion has become a new favourite of mine, you only need a small amount and it's really pigmented and creamy and easy to blend and then it sets and makes my eye makeup stay on all day without creasing, I just love it.

The Primer Potion in Sin is a light champagne beige shade, that is metallic and is a nice everyday shade and you could even wear it on it's own.The packaging is simple but nice and easy to get the product out.

The Primer Potion is a little pricey at £16 but you get 11ml but a little goes a long way so it will last you for quite some time.

What do you think to the Urban Decay Primer Potions?
