I think the most important thing is talking to someone and for me it's usually my friends as they are their for me when I need to talk about it and they won't judge you and they will try to help you through your tough time. It really helps knowing your not alone and you have people around you that care and will try to bring your spirits up.
Do things that bring you happiness and joy, for me what I like to do is watch films or TV shows or read as it brings me out of my own life and so I'm not worrying or stressed out and you get to see life through the characters and often they have similar issues and that can help you to see how they deal with it and some shows, books and films are positive and enjoyable. Also being with my family and friends helps as they are mostly happy and upbeat and then that helps me to be the same.
Listening music is always a good option, I know what a lot of us tend to do and I do it too is listen to sad/depressing music when were unhappy and sad but the best thing is listening to upbeat music to help you feel more happy.
If it is someone or something that is making you unhappy then try to change it, you can't always change things but you can try your best and find new ways to make yourself happy.
If your in a bad/negative situation look at it and think of the positives it is sometimes hard to find the positives but there will be some an focus on them.
When your feeling negative, think about all the positives and happy memories you have, it will then help you to want to get that positivity back.
Just know that the unhappiness will be for as long as you let it effect you and always know that their will be happiness around the corner you just have to find it.
We all have ups and downs in life it will never be completely perfect but you just need to try to stay positive and carry on, it can be hard but you will be able to get through it.
I hope this post helps some of you and if any of you want to talk you can email me or tweet me.

Great post. I agree with everything you've said. When I'm down I re-watch some TV programs I love, it keeps your mind out of things! <3 One Tree Hill always does it for me! haha

Thank you very much and I do the same, love One Tree Hill it never gets old, wish they would do a new series with the kids growing up that would be amazing, thanks :) xx
DeleteI know exactly how you've been feeling, I've just felt completely withdrawn from everything. Even blogging, I just couldn't find any inspiration or passion in me to write but I agree with your tips to help. I found working out/going for a run helps too (and listening to upbeat music throughout!), it helps get my anger out and all the unpleasant feelings! :)

Great post! I know how you feel, I took a short break last month, I just wasn't in it and anytime I tried to write a post is was half-assed and I wasn't happy with it! When I'm down I like to listen to music, read a book and watch Disney films. And if I'm down about my blog I like to read over my comments!
