Hey Lovelies, hope your all alright, today I thought instead of doing a December favourites and I didn't have too many favourites this month, I would do my beauty favourites of 2014.
First up is eyeshadow's I wanted the Naked 3 but it's quite expensive and instead I opted for the Makeup Revolution Iconic 3 palette which is so reasonable at £4 and is such a good dupe. The eyeshadow's are very pigmented and long lasting and have such a nice texture to them and you can create both daytime and nighttime looks either natural or smokey look and they have both matte and shimmery/metallic shades. If you love pinky purple shades you will love this palette. Then I have MAC Woodwinked this has been a favourite for quite some time it's a gorgeous golden brown shade that I have worn all year round, it's pigmented and lasts for quite some time, it's a nice all over the lid shade if you want minimal with just one shade to give you a wash of colour and you can wear it in the crease.
The Maybelline Falsies has been a favourite of mine for ages but I always end up repurchasing this mascara as it's been the best I've ever tried, it lengthens and volumises my eyelashes but doesn't make them clumpy. This year was the first time I've ever tried Illamasqua products and their Precision Ink in Abyss has been the best liquid eyeliner I've ever tried, it's really black and you can create thin or thick lines and is really long lasting.
This year I tried the Bourjois Healthy Mix, I'm not one to jump on the hype straight away but I'm so glad I bought the Healthy Mix, it's become my new favourite drugstore foundation, it's light to medium coverage and gives such a nice feel to the skin and it lasts quite well and matches my skin, I often don't find a good match foundation. The Seventeen Phwoarr Paint came out this year and this and the Collection concealer are two of my favourite concealers, it covers under eye circles really well, isn't cakey and lasts really well. It's also really cheap.
The MUA Undress Your Skin Highlighter has been a favourite of mine for a couple years it's my favourite highlight I own and I've mentioned it quite a few times before, it's a pinky toned shimmery highlight, it can be a little chalky but it is really cheap. Makeup Revolution Blush in Sugar is a gorgeous pink shade, it's really pigmented and long lasting and only £1 you really can't go wrong with it. Sleek Contour Kit in Light is my go to palette for contouring I always use this to contour with, the contour isn't too dark for my skin and is matte, the highlight is really nice too. Sleek Blush in Suede is a nice natural everyday sort of shade that is matte and is really pigmented and lasts really well on the cheeks.
Lastly lip products, the Revlon Colorburst's Matte Balms came out this year and they became a firm favourite of mine, I chose the shade Elusive this is a gorgeous everyday sort of shade it's your lips but better and even though they are matte they aren't drying at all, they are really pigmented and long lasting. Loreal Collection Privee Cheryl Nude came out this year and it was a favourite of mine straight away, it's a pretty pinky nude that is a nice everyday shade and if you want to wear minimal makeup, it's really creamy, pigmented and lasts quite well. MAC Russian Red is my all time favourite red, if I want to wear a red I usually go for this one, this red really suits me and even though it is matte it doesn't dry my lips and is super pigmented and really long lasting. The Revlon lipgloss in Peony is a gorgeous pink with golden shimmer, I've always been a lipgloss person and this year I got back into wearing lipgloss, this lipgloss isn't sticky at all which I always like in a lipgloss, it is pigmented and lasts as long as any other lipgloss.
What has been your beauty favourites of 2014?

These two tops were from my mum and dad and there both from New Look, one is a black lace top and the other is a grey jumper with 3/4 sleeves, that is light and lace detailing on the bottom, there both really pretty and my sort of style. Then I got a few pair of new silky pants.
To start off with I got three different sets of PJ's, the penguin and cat PJ sets are both from Primark and they are so soft and comfy, looking forward to wearing them. The stripped ones are from New Look and they are thin PJ's, these were from family. Then I got some chocolates and sweets, I have eaten some of them but these are some that's left. I always get chocolates/sweets at Christmas which is great but I love chocolate so much that I'm going to gain quite a bit of weight. I also got some money too.
The biggest surprise was on Christmas Day was finding out that my parent's are getting married after being together nearly 25 years they are now getting married and me and my sister are going to be witnesses. It's not going to be a big wedding but I'm so excited!

Snowy Days-White Christmas
Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a nice weekend and you've had a good Christmas and got some lovely presents.
I thought I would share with you some pictures of the snowy weather we have had in the UK. I love the snow and these pictures and being around it just makes it look magical.
I've never minded the snow and being around the snow just brings back lots of memories of when I was a child, when me and my sister used to go out and build snowmen and sledge and have snowball fights. I loved the snow a lot more when I was a kid to now but I still enjoy it.
It wasn't too much snow but it was enough for me to enjoy and I liked looking out the window watching it snow. The snow was so white and pretty which I always love and now it will becoming a sludgy mess and icy.
What's your favourite memory when you were younger and was in the snow?

Christmas Nails
Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a nice day, I can't believe it's Christmas Eve already, it's come around so fast but now I'm excited for Christmas Day tomorrow, who else is excited? Anyway I've done some Christmas nails for you.
These nails aren't hard to do and I'm not even the best at nail art, so if your not very good like me, I'm sure you will be able to do these nails.
First off I painted my nails in this Rimmel red nail polish, I'm not sure on the name as it's rubbed off but any red you have will do. Then I used the Barry M nail polish I'm not sure on this name either as it's rubbed off but it's just a nice sparkly shade and I made parts longer than other on the nails so it looks like it is dripping.
Then for the Christmas tree on the the ring finger, I have these nail art pens that have really thin brushes these don't have names either, but I used this dark green and just drew a triangle. Then I used the Nail Art Nail Tattoo's stars for the top of the Christmas Tree and shaded them in with the golden shimmery nail art pen. Finally I used the Barry M Top Coat. The nails do look better in real life but it's hard to get a good picture of them.
There you have it super easy Christmas nails, what Christmas nails do you like wearing?
Merry Christmas to all of you and I hope you all have a nice day tomorrow and get everything you wanted!!!

Christmas Makeup Look
Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a nice day and are excited for Christmas, it still doesn't feel like Christmas to me this year has gone so fast but I am excited. Today I thought I would share a Christmas makeup look with you and it is un-intentionally all drugstore.
First off I just applied my foundation, concealer and powder, the foundation I have currently been using is the Rimmel London True Match, concealer and powder are always the usual Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer and Rimmel London Stay Matte Pressed Powder.
Starting off with the eyes, I first applied the Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Eyeshadow Paint in Golden Bronze all over the lid, then over the top I used the Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Eyeshadow Stick in Bulletproof Beige. For eyeshadows I used the Maybelline Mono in Gold Diamonds on the lid over the top of the Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Eyeshadow Paint and Eyeshadow Stick, then in the crease I used a golden brown eyeshadow from the Barry M Starry Eyed Palette and then in the outer corner and into the crease I used the Loreal Paris eyeshadow in Cacao Mania.
Highlight under the brow bone was the lightest shade in the Natural Collection duo in Mink/Sable and then in my inner corner I used the Barry M Dazzle Dust, I'm not sure which this one is, as the number has rubbed off but its a white with shimmer. I used the Maybelline Gel Eyeliner to create a cat eye and I curled my eyelashes and applied the Maybelline Falsies mascara.
For my eyebrows I mixed the first and third brown from the MUA Matte Palette and just follow the natural shape of my eyebrow and then used a clear mascara to keep it in place.
Then for cheeks I applied the Sleek blush in Suede and used the highlight from the Sleek Contour Kit to highlight my cheeks.
Finally for lips I used the Loreal Paris Color Riche Blake's Pure Red, this is such a gorgeous red shade that I love and will be reviewing soon.

Tanya Burr Lipglosses
Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a good day. Today I'm going to talk about the Tanya Burr lipglosses. I'm sure you've read quite a few of these type of posts and I'm a bit late to this bandwagon, but I thought I would share my thoughts anyway.
Both these shades are very pigmented and easy to apply to the lips with the applicator. The lipglosses are not sticky at all which I love, I hate when lipglosses are really stick but these aren't their just really creamy, moisturising and glossy on the lips.
The lipglosses have a fresh fruity sort of smell that I really like and isn't too overpowering. The package is really cute and sleek that I really like too.
There are a variety of shades from pale nudey, peaches and pinks, to natural shades and then darker pinks, berry and red shades. Some of the shades are matte and some have shimmer in. The two shades I have is First Date and Aurora, First Date is a pale bubblegum pink that is matte and Aurora is your lips but better pink shade that has slight shimmer but isn't noticeable.
Out of these two shades, Aurora is definitely my favourite it's a gorgeous everyday sort of shade that is natural and I have been wearing most days. First Date I find is a little too pale for me and I can't wear it on it's own, so I use it to lighten up darker shades.
My sister has Chic which I've been borrowing too which is a gorgeous nudey shade that is also a great everyday shade.
These lipglosses are only £6.99 which is a bargain and they are my favourite lipglosses I've ever tried. I definitely want to get more shades and try some of the new shades

The Christmas Tag

3. Do you have a favourite Christmas memory?
It's hard to pick a favourite Christmas memory, all my Christmas's have been memorable and I've loved them. I always think Christmas is best when your a kid you get so excited and the house is really nicely decorated and all the presents you get and you play with them for hours.

It has got to be Christmas dinner, it is always the best and you get so stuffed with all the food you eat. I always love chocolate and I get a lot at Christmas.

That's a hard one but I would say the magic set I got as a kid, I was obsessed with it and wanted to take it with me everywhere and do the tricks.

Usually our tradition for Christmas Eve is ordering Chinese and just watching TV which consists of Christmas films and TV programmes.
8. What tops your tree?
We gave had both angels and stars over the years but this year it is a star. As a kid I used to always love putting the angel or star on the top of the tree.
9. As a kid what was the one (crazy, wild, extravagant) gift you always asked for but never received?
I think I usually got everything I asked for but when I was younger I did want a pet mainly a puppy but I never got it but it never bothered me too much.
10. What's the best part about Christmas for you?
I love everything about Christmas but the best part for me is getting to spend time with all my family and having Christmas dinner and just generally having a nice time.

Top 5 Red Lipstick
Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a nice weekend, today I'm doing a post on my top 5 red lipsticks, red lipstick is always a statement lipstick that I love wearing but it's perfect for Christmas and so I thought I would share with you my favourites.
My all time favourite red has to be MAC's Russian Red, it's been a favourite of mine for years. It's a classic red that is matte but isn't drying on the lips and makes your teeth look whiter, this is always the first red I will go for if I want to wear a red lipstick. I think this red lipstick will suit most skin tones as well.
Rimmel London lipstick in Alarm, was the first ever red lipstick I actually bought and I repurchased it since, when I first started getting into wearing full face of makeup I wanted to try going out of my comfort zones as I only would wear pinks and neutral shades on my lips and so when I branched out this was the first red I got. It's a gorgeous red that isn't as deep as Russian Red and is more orange toned while Russian Red is blue toned.
Next up is Beauty UK lipstick in Naughty this is an orange red lipstick, it's the lightest out of all the shades and so if you want to branch out into wearing red I would say this is a good one to go for. This is really moisturising and slightly glossy which I love but it isn't as long lasting of the other lipsticks but it is the cheapest.
Rimmel London Kate Moss in 107, so many will know about this lipstick, I think its a statement lipstick that most beauty bloggers have, it's a gorgeous deep berry red that I absolutely love and couldn't live without I love wearing this lipstick. It is matte but it isn't drying on the lips and is very pigmented and long lasting.
Lastly is Rimmel London Apocalips in Big Bang this is a lip lacquer, that is between a lipstick and lipgloss, Big Bang is a bright glossy red. These lip lacquers are really creamy and opaque and last quite a long time.
As you can tell Rimmel London is one of my favourite brands for lip products but especially reds, I recently got the Loreal Blake Lively Red lipstick which I'm absolutely loving and once I've used it a bit more I will be reviewing.

Gift Guide for Her for £10 and Under!
Hey Lovelies, sorry for being a bit MIA on my blog recently, I wasn't feeling the best and everything was getting on top of me so I needed a little break. Anyway I thought I would do a gift guide for £10 and under as sometimes we can't all afford to spend a lot of money on people.
First up is The Body Shop and their gift selection, I always think The Body Shop is great for Christmas presents, they have a range of gifts and they all smell amazing and are boxed up very Christmassy. The first gift is Strawberry Treats and is £6 with a Strawberry Shower Gel and Body Puree with a Red Mini Crinkle Bath Sponge. Then next The Sweet Polar Bear that is £7 and is so cute, includes the Strawberry Body Butter and Lip Butter.
