Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Nude Eyeliner Review

Hey Lovelies, here's a review on the Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Nude Eyeliner.

I'm very late on this bandwagon but better late than never, I heard so many good things about this eyeliner and I kept thinking about buying it or not but I'm so glad I did buy it in the end.

I used to have a white eyeliner to brighten up my eyes but since buying this I threw it away, the white looked a lot harsher than the nude and the nude looks more natural.

The eyeliner really does brighten up your eyes and opens up your eyes and so it's great for when you haven't had enough sleep and your tired or you have to get up early and your face looks dull.

I've worn this eyeliner from 7:00am to 3:30pm before and it lasted all day and didn't move so its great, it does say its waterproof but I've not tried it to see.

I use it in my waterline and sometimes in the inner corner.

The eyeliner is really creamy and soft and easy to apply.

I've been using it nearly everyday and I absolutely love it.

It's a bargain at £3.99 you can get it from Boots and Superdrug.

Overall I think it's an amazing product and I highly recommend buying it, it's a must have staple product in my makeup bag now.

Hope you enjoyed.

Confessions Of A Blogger-Tag

Hey Lovelies, I've been a bit busy with doing assignments for college so haven't had much time to blog, have some time today and I wanted to do the confessions of a blogger tag I've seen it on others blogs the last couple months and thought it looked like a good tag and I haven't done a tag in a while so I wanted to do it.

When did you start your blog?
I started my blog in May 2012 so it's 10 months now, will be exactly a year on the 19th May, time has flown by I never thought I would have been blogging nearly a year but I don't know what I would be doing if I didn't have a blog, I love blogging so much.

Have you had any past online presence before (Other blog, YouTube)?
No I haven't this has been my first blog but I'm so happy I decided to do it and hopefully in the future might branch out to doing YouTube.

When did you become serious about starting a blog?
I have always been serious about starting a blog, I contemplated for a while before starting my blog but I always take whatever I decide to do serious.

What was your first post?
My first post was me just introducing myself and then going into a review, it's quite embarrassing just because I didn't know how to start it off but here it is if you want to have a look but it is a bit cringey but I think everyone starts off this way not knowing how to begin but it has been a great learning experience from them to now I think my pictures and language is much better now.

What has been your biggest challenge about blogging?
I don't think blogging is really challenging I love taking pictures and writing my blog posts for everyone one to read, the only challenge I would really say is that I want to keep everyone interested in reading my blog so I like to do a variety of posts to suit everyone.

Where do you see your blog in one year?
Hopefully I think I will still be blogging I love it so don't think I would give it up, just to do more variety of posts, keep getting better at blogging and just seeing people following and commenting on my blog makes me so happy because I know people are interested in reading my blog.

What is the most rewarding thing to you about blogging?
Getting positive feedback from everyone, getting followers and comments and all the support from other bloggers is so amazing and makes me so happy to be apart of the blogging community.

What is the most discouraging thing that happens to you?
I don't think there is really anything discouraging that has happened but I don't like how some people tell you how your blog should look, I think its individual and unique to the person and should be how they want it to be not what anyone else says.

What's your lasting inspiration or motivation?
I've always been quite motivated and because I love blogging I'm motivated to keep blogging and all the support and feedback from other people and bloggers inspires me to keep blogging and other bloggers inspire me to make my blog better, I also get inspiration from other people's blog post if they have good reviews of products it makes me want to go buy it.

It was a nice tag and I think you should do it too if you haven't.

Leave your link if you do the tag would love to read your answers.

Dainty Doll Review

Hello Lovelies, I know everyone has been doing posts on Dainty Doll and I'm one of them here's a review of the few products I bought.

I've always wanted to try Dainty Doll, I'm quite pale so thought it would be a good range for me, a lot of the time I would test it in Boots and wondered about buying it or not but never did until now when I saw in T X Maxx they was a set of 3 for £4.99 I knew I should buy it.

The products in the set were You Are My Sunshine Blush, Jungle Eyeshadow and Baby Love Lipstick.

I love the packaging its just black with Dainty Doll and Nicola Robert's name on it and looks very sleek and expensive.

You Are My Sunshine Blush is a medium pink with gold shimmer in it, I love the colour it looks very similar to Sleek Rose Gold and Nars Orgasm, it is very pigmented and long lasting and will look great for spring/summer time.

Jungle Eyeshadow is a bright turquoise colour, its not shimmery but more metallic, I've not really worn it yet but I have tried it out it's very pigmented and long lasting, I don't know if I would wear it on the lids  but think it would be better for summer to wear as eyeliner or under the lash line.

Baby Love Lipstick is a light baby pink colour, the lipstick is very creamy and dries to a more matte finish, on me it's a too pale and makes me look ghostly so I have to wear a lipgloss or another lipstick over the top to darken it up, it might work better on even lighter skin tones, it is pigmented but not that long lasting. I didn't really like the lipstick just because it didn't suit me.

I love all the names of the products.
Swatches of them all.

Only bad thing I can say is the lipstick didn't work for me and the names of the products are only on the box not on the blusher, lipstick and eyeshadow.

Overall I think Dainty Doll is a good brand it has a range of colours to suit everyone.

What do you think to Dainty Doll products let me know.

MUA Review

Hello Lovelies, here's a review of a couple MUA products I have bought recently.

I heard so many good things about these products and really wanted to try them, I got the highlighter first and then it took a while to get my hands on the Undress Me Too palette but I'm so glad I got them both.

The palette has gorgeous shades and I've already worn it quite a few times, the shimmery shades are the best they are so pigmented and are so nice to use, you can create different looks for both daytime and nighttime, its a dupe for the Naked 2, the only downside to this palette is the matte shades aren't as pigmented and can be a little chalky but at £4 you can't expect miracles, overall I think it's an alright palette but some of there other palettes are better quality.

Swatches of the first row.
Swatches of the second row, as you can see the black isn't very pigmented or dark.

The Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter is absolutely amazing, I love the swirls in the highlighter, I've heard its a dupe for a Mac highlighter, its a gorgeous pinky champagne shimmery colour that gives you a lovely glow to the cheek but doesn't make you look like a disco ball and it's only £3 you can't go wrong.

I like the new white packaging it's still similar to the black packaging it looks cheap but is sturdy.

What do you think to the MUA Undress Me Too palette and Shimmer Highlighter?

Trust Issues

Hello Lovelies, here's a different type of post for you today it's more personal and something that I think everyone goes through in their lives and here's just what it's like for me.

Image from Google.

I used to be very trusting in people till I was about 14 this was when I got bullied and because it was by people I thought were my friends and I had trusted in them with my personal information and I had heard whispers about me so they could have told people I'm not 100% sure but that was the main reason in me not being able to trust anyone else I thought that whatever I told them they could use it against me to hurt me so I didn't want to leave my self unprotected from the hurt so I built a sort of wall where I talked to people about everyday things but wasn't able to tell them anything personal.

When I got to college I thought it could be a change for me, that people would be more mature and I could maybe be more trusting in people, I was able to talk about my past experiences and how I found it hard to trust people and people did understand I still wasn't able to let them in but I would take about personal things, I found a new friend that had a lot of same experiences as me and so I found it easier to talk about these things because she understood what I had been through but I could never tell her completely everything and couldn't drop my wall down, even with my wall up I still got hurt so I didn't want to let it down to let more hurt through.

I started my new course this year at college and made more friends and one would just tell us everything that had ever happened to her and she didn't have a fear about telling us, it made me think that I would be able to let my guard down and be more trusting and I would tell them about my past experiences and personal things and I started to slowly let my guard down a bit each time and be more trusting but like anything else something would happened which made me think I can't do it and I would put my guard back up and have to start all over again in trusting them.

There's been know one I can trust completely, I've tried so hard to be trusting in people and let my guard down but they do something it can be big or little and it just forces me to protect myself,  I hate the feeling of hurt and pain so I don't want to put myself through it so I don't know if I will ever be able to let my guard down but I keep trying and at that's all I can do but I hope one day I will be able to trust in someone because not being able to trust people makes you feel alone and I hate feeling alone.

I think everyone has people that they find it hard to trust, so I thought I would tell my personal experience of not being able to trust.

I just want to tell people if you ever feel like this and you want to talk about it, I'm still going through it  and I know what it's like, I'm always here for you, you can email me acmakeuplover@gmail.com or on twitter.

I never want people to feel the way I have felt because its not nice.

It was really hard for me to write this post but I hope its helpful to someone and to let people know I'm always here for you to talk to.

MAC Review

Hello Lovelies, two months ago I had a MAC makeover here's the post if you want to have a look, I got a comment saying to review the eyeshadows because they hadn't heard very much about them and sorry for only just getting round to doing it but I thought I would review all the products I got.

I bought the swiss chocolate matte eyeshadow which was £12, ice mineralize eyeshadow which was £16.50, matte lipstick in russian red which was £14 and pro longwear blush in all day blush which was £19.

I like both matte and shimmery eyeshadows so I love both these eyeshadows, swiss chocolate is a matte medium brown, its very pigmented and long lasting I love wearing it on an everyday basis but I like that you can wear it as a natural look or have a brown smokey eye, ice is a shimmery silvery gold colour, the products is swirly with a mixture of a peachy and champaigney colour I really like the swirls in the product, this is also very pigmented and long lasting its very shimmery but not big chunks of glitter and I like to wear it more at nighttime.

All day blush is nudey peachy pink colour, it is very pigmented so if your a fair skin tone like me you don't need to use too much product, I like the name of the blush and like the name says its a perfect blush for all day and you can wear it in the daytime or nighttime, its a quite natural blush that is buildable and is really long lasting.

Russian red is a classic matte red lipstick and its really pigmented and long lasting, the formulation is matte but is quite moisturising at first but can be a little drying after wearing it for a few hours, I never used to like wearing red lipstick but since blogging I love wearing them and this is my new favourite red lipstick, this is a perfect red that I think will suit every skin tone.

I always like MAC's packaging its just black but its sleek.

I just love all MAC makeup and if I could I would buy it all because it's always good quality and isn't the most expensive high end brand.

What's your favourite MAC products let me know.

Illamasqua Beauty School Drop In Event Part 3

Hello Lovelies, here is the final part to the Illamsqua beauty drop in, I know its been a long few posts but I hope you enjoyed it  and found it interesting and found out some new tips and tricks, this part is all about the lips, here's the first part and second part if you haven't seen it.

The makeup artists applying products on the lips on Hannah and Lelia.

The lipstick and lip liner use on Hannah.

The lip liners and lipsticks are very pigmented.

They say the liners are waxy.

They call it the stages of 3 they use lipliner, lipstick and lipgloss.

A different lipstick and lip liner.

The lipgloss they used on Hannah.

For Lelia they used the pigment they used on the cheeks.

The completed looks on both Hannah and Lelia, I like both looks but I prefer Hannah's because it would be something I would wear and Lelia's look suits darker skin tones.

Some pictures of the Illamasqua products, they all look amazing, really like the look of the nail polishes.

We all got a bag, it has a little magazine with different looks in, the card with all the prices, orange false eyelashes and a little card with a snail on with little notes on the back.

It was a great event and if you have any in your area I recommend you going there really good and you learn lots of new tips and tricks.
