Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a nice day. Today I've got a post on The Body Shop Christmas Blogger Event I attended last Sunday at Meadowhall.
It was a really nice event, as soon as we came through the door we were greeted and offered drinks and said that we could have a look around the store.
Me and Kirsty went looking around the shop and especially at all the Christmas ranges, there was so many amazing goodies. The staff then came round offering us Christmas treats like mince pies, gingerbread and Christmas cake and asking if we wanted anymore drinks.
After looking around a bit, we got to watch a Christmas smokey makeup demonstration for the party season. They created such a beautiful look and after watching the demonstration I decided to buy this set with Grooving Gold Eyeshadow Palette that was used and The Sparkler which is a gold glittery mist that you can use on your body and hair and smells amazing. In the set you also got a nail polish with gorgeous gold glitter perfect for the party season. I will definitely do a review on the products soon, when I've tried them out.
There is the Grooving Gold Eyeshadow Palette and Swinging Silver Eyeshadow Palette they are limited edition for Christmas so if you want to try them out, go have a look in your local store.
After the makeup demonstration we had another look round the store and decided what we were going to buy. We also got 40% off our purchases so that was amazing, I got the set for myself and a couple bits for family for Christmas so I can't show you just in case they see this post. We also got a little goodie bag with some samples, this cute Owl Bath Sponge and Frosted Cranberry Shower Gel*.
It was such a nice event, the staff were all really friendly and offered help if we wanted to know anything. It was also nice meeting new bloggers that I had never met before and getting to chat to them.
The Body Shop Christmas products are really nice and I recommend going into to store to have a look and smell.

Real Techniques Brushes
Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a good weekend. Today I've got a post on the Real Techniques brushes.
I've had these brushes for ages and I love Real Techniques brushes, there always such good quality and when I got them last year I was excited to try them.
I have the expert face brush and the blush brush. The expert face brush is a great brush for applying your liquid foundation, it makes your foundation look flawless and gives you a good and even coverage without streaks and blends into your skin really well. The bristles are sturdy but soft and dense and don't shed which I have experienced in the past with other brushes.
The blush brush is a great 2 in one brush as I use it for both applying blush to apples of my cheek but you can use it to contour with. I also know some people who use it to apply powder too. The bristles are the same as any other Real Techniques brushes soft and sturdy but the blush brush is slightly tapered so it allows precise application and this is why I sometimes contour with it. The blush brush is quite a big brush out of all the Real Techniques brushes I own but its still a great brush and blends really well.
Both brushes are £9.99 which I think is good value for money and I always think you need to spend a little more on good brushes.
What are your favourite Real Techniques brushes?

Accepting Yourself
Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a good day, today I've got a personal type post on accepting yourself.
The Image Sources.
For a long time I never accepted myself, I didn't think I was thin enough or pretty enough, I was the opposite to the girls at school and people in the media. I wanted to be more like them but everything I tried it never made a difference, but the truth is I'm never going to be that stick thin beautiful model but in being myself and accepting myself, I know who I am and that I am beautiful in my own way. Don't get me wrong their will be days when I feel bad about myself but I've become more accepting of myself which is a huge step in me being happy.
As you may know I got bullied in school and because of this experience it made me think very negatively of myself and that I wasn't good enough or perfect like I needed to be. I wanted to just fit in with everyone else and be accepted but by doing it I wasn't being myself anymore. Being yourself and accepting who you are is the most important thing and if people don't accept you for who you are, don't worry about them they are not worth your time. You need to surround yourself with people that love you for who you are and positively make you feel better about yourself.
Amount of times it's been my own self thinking that is negative on myself, which makes you feel a lot worse than what people have said because you think what you think, everyone else is thinking too. I was too focused on all the flaws and things I believed needed changing about myself that a few times I think I lost who I was but after a long time, I've learnt to accept myself for who I am and I will never change for anyone, I am who I am and if people don't like it, then it is their loss not mine.
We all should just believe in ourselves and if your happy with yourself that's all that matters. I hope you all accept yourselves for who you are and if you don't learn to, were all unique and perfect in our own way and we should be different and not like everyone else.
When did you learn to accept yourself? And do you have anything you want to add about accepting yourself, then leave a comment for everyone to see.

Zoeva Graphic Eyes New Jewels
Hey Lovelies, I know it's been a while since my last post, I've been really busy and needed a bit of break, I always want to make sure I do the best blog posts for you, so having a break was the best and it made me miss it more and I'm glad to be back.
I got this eyeliner just over a year ago from a blog event, I helped organise and I nearly forgot about it, I take so many pictures that I sometimes forget what I've took pictures of.
This is my first ever Zoeva product and I had heard so many good things about their products so I was excited to try it when I received it in my goodie bag.
The shade is New Jewels which is I think is a great name and the shade is a gorgeous purple with light purple shimmer running through it, I absolutely love wearing it.
You can wear the eyeliner on your lid or on your waterline, I really like it on the lid and with a brush you can wing it out too.
The formulation is amazing it's really creamy and easy to apply and blend and then it dries in about a minute and is very long lasting and doesn't smudge, it's one of my favourite eyeliners and I really recommend it.
I always love purple shades there my favourite colour and it really brings out my blue eyes.
Have you tried any of the Zoeva Graphic Eye's Eyeliner, what do you think and what are your favourite shades?

Date Idea's
Hey Lovelies, sorry for the lack of posts I've got a job at Superdrug and I've been working there last few weeks and spending time with my boyfriend and not had a lot of time to blog but I thought I would do a lifestyle post on date idea's, me and my boyfriend like going out on dates but also just relaxing and being at home. I thought this post could help if your getting stuck on what you can do as a couple for dates.
All images from Google.
A favourite of mine and my boyfriends is going for something to eat and then to the cinema, it's a great option because there is so many different places of food you can try and there's always lots of different film options that can suit both of you. If your on a budget you could go to a restaurant one month and the cinema the next month.
If you have a zoo/wildlife centre close to where you live that's always a good option for a date and everyone would enjoy it. There's so many different animals you can see and it's always a fun day out. I've been to Chester Zoo and The Deep and they were both great day's out for me and my boyfriend.
Mine and my boyfriend's first date was at Costa, so coffee shops and cafe's are always a good option and your able to talk for ages and get to know one another. The other day we went to Costa for lunch and a drink before I had to go to work and it was nice and relaxing.
We've been bowling for one of our dates which was really fun because neither one of us is the best at bowling and we weren't competitive we just had a laugh and played on the grab machines afterwards and played air hockey and took pictures in the photo booth. It was a nice fun date.
Seaside visits, we went to Cleethorpes in the Summer and that was a nice day out, we had junk food, played on the grab machines, walked on the beach and took photo's, I really enjoyed this day out.
If your on a budget going on a walk can always be a good idea, I have a nice little spot where I live and me and my boyfriend walked there and spent a bit of time there just talking and walking hand in hand.
These are just some of the dates I've been on but there's always other dates such as going to concerts, museums or mini golf, there's so many things you can do together.
Where's your favourite places to go on dates?

Dolce & Gabbana Passion Duo in Natural
Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a nice day, today I've got a post on the Dolce & Gabbana Passion Duo in Natural it's a gloss fusion lipstick.
I've had this lipstick for ages, I got it for Christmas from my sister and I recently remembered I had it in my collection and it's a really nice lipstick so I thought I would discuss it.
The lipstick is in the shade natural its a peach nude shade which is so gorgeous and really natural and is not like anything else I have in my collection. It has some shimmer/satin to it around the outside but it isn't very noticeable on the lips.
The lipstick is really pigmented and moisturising, it does last quite a long time but isn't the most long lasting lipstick I own. It applies really smoothly and nicely and I love wearing this shade.
I love the packaging it's light gold and really sleek and sophisticated.
I had never really heard about Dolce and Gabbana lipsticks until I got this lipstick but I'm really glad I have this lipstick it's a good addition to my collection and a really nice lipstick.
Have any of you tried the Dolce and Gabbana lipsticks? What do you think to them?

Collection Work The Colour Lip Butter in Perfect Plum
Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a nice weekend. Today I've got a beauty post on the Collection Work The Colour Lip Butter in Perfect Plum, I've had this for ages but I forgot I had it, I got it from an event* last year and so I thought I would do a review on it.
Lip Crayons have been a favourite of mine ever since Revlon released them and these Collection ones are just as good.
These Collection Lip Butters are really inexpensive at £2.99 and they are really pigmented, glossy and moisturising and not drying at all, they are quite long lasting but not as long lasing as other Lip Crayons. They are really creamy and easy to apply.
The shade I have is Perfect Plum which is a gorgeous plumy purple shade so it's perfect for Autumn and Winter, I know they have three other shades which are also gorgeous and would be good everyday shades and more Spring/Summer shades.
The packaging is just basic pencil form but I like how the colour of the packaging is the shade you get inside. All you need to do is twist it up when you need more product and you don't need to sharpen it which is great.
What do you think to the Collection Work The Colour Lip Butters? Do you have a favourite shade?

Cleethorpes Day Trip!
Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a nice day, today I have another lifestyle type post I've been really enjoying doing these type of posts from the trips I've been on. Next week I'm going to Brighton for the very first time with my boyfriend and I can't wait, I'm really excited and will definitely be taking my camera to take lots of pictures. I went to Cleethorpes a few weekends ago with my boyfriend and it was quite spur of the moment but it was fun non the less.
It was a nice day out, it's great if you live close by and having kids but it's still fun for us adults. We just walked on the beach, had donuts and chips, went on 2p and 10p machines and spent way too much on grabber machines but it was all fun and it was a nice warm day.
There's rides for children to go on such as slides, bouncy castle, a wheel, swings and even donkey rides, so they will have lots of fun. They will enjoy the junk food and going on the 2p and 10p machines and wanting you to win them toys from the grabbers.
If your wanting a day out then Cleethorpes is a nice place to go and will be fun for everyone and can be reasonable inexpensive if you don't put lots of money in the grabber machines like I did but it was still worth it.
