OOTN- Out On The Town

Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a great weekend, yesterday I went out for my friends birthday and I thought I would share with you my outfit, I haven't done an outfit post in a while and I loved this outfit that I wore, so I thought I would do a blog post on it. I didn't have enough time to take pictures on my camera so this is just of my phone but the quality isn't too bad.
The dress is from Jane Norman and I got it about a month ago in the sale for £25, so that was a bargain and I just love this dress it's tight fitting dress and hugs to my body perfectly. My shoes are from Matalans and I got them a while ago so I don't know if you can still get them, the heels aren't too high and they are easy to walk and quite comfortable so I really like wearing them.

This dress is perfect for nights out and it will fit petite and taller people, I'm quite small at 5'2 and my sister tried this dress on and she's a lot taller and it fitted her too. The dress hasn't got too much going on and I just think it's really sleek and elegant.

The only accessories I wore with this dress was earrings, I could have also worn a bracelet but with this dress I didn't think I need to many accessories as the dress was the main focus of the outfit.

I hope you enjoyed the post, what is your favourite dress to wear on a night out?

The British Tag

Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a good day. Today I thought I would do a tag post, I've not done one in a while and I always enjoy these type of posts and videos. BeautyCrush created this tag and I've seen it going round YouTube so I thought I would do it, I haven't been tagged by anyone but I thought it was a nice tag to do.
1. How many cups of tea do you have a day? + How many sugars?
With me I don't drink a lot, I know I need to drink more but I don't, in hot drinks I only like tea and hot chocolate and I only really drink them in Autumn and Winter when it's cold, in hot weather I always prefer cold drinks. In a usual day though I would say 1 or 2 and I have 2 sugars.

2. Favourite part of your roast?

I love roasts there one of my favourite meals, its hard to choose what my favourite part of a roast is but I would say the Yorkshire Puddings or the Meat or Stuffing. Roasts are just the best.

3. Favourite dunking biscuit?

This is a hard one cause whatever biscuits we have I will dunk, I would say chocolate digestives or hobnobs.

4. Favourite quintessentially British pastime?

This is an easy one for me, Afternoon Tea, having a cup a tea with scones or cake is always the best. I also like having fish and chips.

5. Favourite word?

I don't really have a favourite word but if I had to choose I would probably say lovely, you can probably tell I use it a lot.

6. Cockney rhyme slang?

The only one I know is Apple and Pears-Stairs, I don't know any others.

7. Favourite sweet?

I am more of a chocolate person than sweets but my favourite sweets would be wine gums, midget gems, fruit pastels, toffee's, eclairs, laces and jazzies, there just the ones I can think of off the top of my head but there is probably more.

8. What would your pub be called?

I'm not sure I've never really thought of a pub name but I would say "The Past Time" I think its nice but also I would want it to be a traditional pub, so the name suits it and it would be nice and homely.

9. No.1 British person?

I don't really have a favourite British person but I would say Miranda Hart she's just hilarious or Kate Middleton she always looks classy and elegant and seem's down to earth.

10. Favourite shop / restaurant?

My favourite shops are New Look and Primark for clothes and beauty obviously Boots and Superdrug.

Favourite Restaurant is a traditional pub type restaurant they are very British and have nice food.

11. What British song pops into your head?

It's a bit embarrassing but Spice Up Your Life by the Spice Girls just popped into my head. I grew up listening to Spice Girls and watching them on video.

12. Marmite.

Ewww nooooooo, I hate it!

I tag any British Bloggers who haven't done the tag.

Send me a link to your post, if any of you do it.

Also answer one of the questions in the comments, would love to see your answers.

Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Eyeshadow Paint

Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a nice day, today I have a review post for you, I've recently had a variety of posts but I always love doing beauty posts especially reviews, so here it is.
I know these eyeshadow paints have been out for quite a while and I've seen a few reviews on them and heard really good things about them. I had seen them before but they were only a couple shades that appealed to me, I wasn't much of a fan of the brighter shades.

About a month ago while I was browsing in Poundland I found this Golden Bronze shade so I couldn't say no and had to buy it and you can't go wrong for a pound when they are usually £4.99.

They only had this Golden Bronze shade but I always thought this and Rich Russet were shades that were gorgeous and I would go for. Since buying it I have worn it numerous times and just loved it. Like in the name its a golden bronzy shade which is pigmented and metallic so if you don't like metallic shades, I wouldn't advice these but it is easy to apply eyeshadow over the top to matte it out if you want.

These have sponge doe-foot applicators like lipglosses and are easy to apply, I like to put it on with the applicator and then blend with my finger. When using these they are quite wet and thick but dries really quickly, so it's best to do one eye at a time and after they dry they do not budge at all which is great especially for these summer months when you want your makeup to last.

I like the packaging it's simple but sleek and shows you the exact colour your getting.

Overall I think these are great products they are very pigmented and long lasting and I want to buy more just wish they had more wearable shades.

Have any of you tried the Rimmel London Scandal Eyes Eyeshadow Paints? What do you think to them?

Tour De France

Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a nice day. The Tour De France came round Yorkshire yesterday and I went to support and watch, here are some pictures from the day.
Some of the pictures at the beginning were me on a wall cause it was that crowded and not much space, so it was hard to take a good picture but a few of the cyclists that were near the back came through and I was able to take better pictures.

It was a really enjoyable day and a good experience, I'm glad that I got to witness the Tour De France in my home town.

Did any of you watch the Tour De France?

It's only a quick post but I hope you enjoyed.

My Peaceful Serenity

Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a nice day, today is going to be a different post, it's a lifestyle type post and is on one of my favourite places that is close by to where I live and has so many memories here.
We just call this place the Dam and it's just a nice place to come when I want a break, to escape everything and to think about things, it's so beautiful and takes you away from everything.

When I was a kid, as a family we used to walk on here and feed the ducks and I have so many fond memories here.

It's a place I never get tired of visiting, it's never too busy and is quite quiet which is always nice and it is good to have a break every once in a while and have a walk and not stay cooped inside on the Internet all the time.

Especially in summer this is the perfect place to go to just relax and enjoy the sun and the view.

What is your favourite place to visit?

June Favourites

Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a nice day, I've got my June Favourites for you.
Beauty Favourites
First up is the MUA palette's in Undressed and Undress Me Too, I think I've mentioned these palette's a numerous amount of times as I have loved them for ages. This month I've been using them a lot more, these palette's are great for creating different looks both natural and smokey, they have matte and shimmer shades and you can't go wrong for £4 and they are dupes for the Naked and Naked 2.

Blushers I've been wearing most this month is MUA blush in Lolly and Rimmel London's Pink Rose. Lolly is a corally peach colour with slight shimmer but it isn't very noticeable and it's just a really nice colour for summer time. Pink Rose is a pink shade it looks a lot darker than it is when you apply to the cheeks and is just a nice shimmery pink.

Next up is the Benefit They're Real mascara, I've had this sample for a while but only recently started using it, it's a nice mascara that adds length and volume to my lashes, it coats all the lashes really well too and I like the brush on the mascara. I've not been using eyeliner much but when I have been wearing it, I've gone back to my trusted Maybelline Gel Eyeliner. It's really pigmented and black and long lasting which I love about it.

Last up is the Beauty UK In The Buff lipstick and Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Sweet Tart. The Beauty UK lipstick is a corally pink shade that isn't too bright. It's really moisturising and pigmented and lasts for quite a while on the lips and is cheap. The Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Sweet Tart is a bright fuchsia pink shade and is very moisturising and nourishing on the lips which I really like about them.

Non-Beauty Favourites
Music- Cheryl Cole-Crazy Stupid Love, think it's a really catchy song that I've been loving listening to. Lucy Hale's album I've been loving and I relate to lots of the songs. Rixton-Me and My Broken Heart is a good song. Last song is Ella Henderson's Ghost I've been listening to it non stop, love it.
TV Shows- Pretty Little Liars returned this month and this is my favourite TV show of all time that I love watching. Chasing Life is a new show that came on and it's about a women who is diagnosed with cancer and she has a hectic life and a close family relationship. Switched at Birth also came back on and this is a great show and is so different as it has deaf and hearing cast which I find really interesting.
Books- I've been reading a lot more recently and some books that I absolutely loved was Silence and Broken Silence which is a two part book series about a young girl who doesn't speak and you find out why, I'm not going to give too much away and in the second book it is four years later and you see a big difference in the main character. Another two part book series that I liked reading was Broken and Connected, it is a romance but it also has a tragedy as well, which really pulls at your heart strings.

Summer Hair

Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a nice day, the other day I had my hair coloured and I wanted to show it all, it's different and lighter to my usual hair colour but I was ready for a change.
I like how it is subtle, quite natural and not too much and I think it's great for the summer months.

It is highlighted with two different types of blond, my hairdresser did this with foils, so I still have some of my natural hair colour too.

My hair looks and feels in good condition, I did also had it cut but my hair is long anyway, I just had a few lairs around my face just to add some shape and I'm out growing my fringe so I don't have to worry about it being in my face in the hot weather.

My hair does look better in real life than in the pictures, it's hard to take a good picture with all the different shades in it.

This is the first time in a while I've had my hair coloured but I'm so glad I did and I like the change and it is perfect for summer.

Have of any of you changed your hair for summer?

MAC Lipstick Collection

Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a nice day, I know its been over a week, I've had a lot going on but I'm back now and will continue posting regularly. I decided to do a MAC Lipstick Collection post, I don't have too many but I have 9 and I love MAC lipsticks and love these type of posts, so I thought I would share with you the shades I have.
MAC are one of my favourite brands for lipsticks, I always love the formulation and the pigmentation and the way they look on the lips. I have a variety of shades from nudes, pinks, berries and reds.

First up is Hue which is a nudey pink shade, this is a nude I like to wear with a smokey eye, I sometimes find it is a hard shade to pull off. Hue is a glaze finish which makes it quite glossy and opaque.

Next shade is Hug Me which is another nude but this is a browny pinky nude which is my favourite nude I own and is easy to wear. Hug Me is a lustre finish which is quite glossy, light and moisturising.

The next shade is Creme Cup which is a natural everyday light pink shade that I like wearing a lot and looks nice in any season. It will look great on any skin tone I think. Creme Cup is a creamsheen so it is creamy and moisturising.

Another shade of mine is Snob which is a light pink shade with purpley undertones, I still have a love/hate relationship with this shade as I find it a hard shade to pull off. Snob is a satin finish and is quite moisturising. This is my least favourite shade from all my MAC lipsticks.

Next up is Chatterbox which is a gorgeous bright medium pink, this was my first ever MAC lipstick and I still love this shade, it's such an easy shade to wear and perfect for these summer months. Chatterbox is an amplified finish and it is creamy and moisturising, with a slight sheen to it.

Another shade is Girl About Town which is a bright fuchsia pink with blue undertones so it does help making your teeth look whiter. This is a lipstick that will look great on any skin tone. Girl About Town is also an amplified finish so it's creamy, moisturising and has a sheen to it.

Next is Rebel which is a lovely deep fuchsia berry shade which is unique, I think this shade is perfect for autumn and winter and will look great on any skin tone and I just love it. Rebel is a satin finish and is quite moisturising and had a slight sheen to it.

One of my next shade is Diva this is a deep berry/burgundy red shade which is a nice alternative if you don't want to wear a normal red shade. This is also a nice autumn shade. Diva is a matte shade but isn't drying but it's not very moisturising, you need to have your lips in good condition to wear matte shades.

Last up is Russian Red this is a normal deep red shade and is my favourite red lipstick I own. This is also a matte shade but isn't drying on the lips but isn't very moisturising.

I love all these MAC lipsticks I own and will definitely purchase more, as they are always good quality, I just hope the prices don't go up anymore £15 is quite a lot already.

Whats your favourite MAC lipstick?

Hungary

Hey Lovelies, hope your all having a nice weekend, a few weeks ago my mum and dad went to Hungary, if you didn't know I'm a quarter Hungarian and I think Hungary is a beautiful place and is part of my history so I thought I would share with you the pictures from their trip.
I'm not sure what these monuments are called but I think they all look amazing, they have so many beautiful buildings and it looks so picturesque.

It's only a quick post but I hope you enjoy.

Have any of you ever been to Hungary?

Top 5 Spring/Summer Nail Polishes

Hey Lovelies, hope you've all had a nice day, here's in the last of the series of my top 5 Spring/Summer products here's a link to the previous two posts.
In Spring and Summer I love wearing bright and colourful shades and these are my top ones I have chosen.

The first nail polish is the Fearne polish in Lemon Drizzle it's a bright light matte yellow shade, these polishes are pigmented and easy to apply which I really like and last really well.

Next shade is the Barry M Gelly Hi Shine nail paint in Greenberry its a beautiful matte turquoise shade that I love wearing, it's really pigmented and doesn't chip very easy and lasts a long time.

The middle shade is Essie Bazooka it's a bright matte orange shade, it's really pigmented and lasts for quite a long time. I want to buy more Essie nail polishes they are one of the best brands I've tried.

Next is the NO7 Speed Dry nail colour in Heather this is a shimmery light pinky purple shade, I also light to wear pale shades as well but mostly bright shades. It's a speed dry so it does dry really quickly and doesn't smudge which is a bonus for me as I always tend to smudge my nails.

Last is the Fearne polish in Cotton Candy this is a light matte purple shade, if you didn't know purple is my favourite colour and I love this shade for that reason I think it's a really pretty shade and it lasts for quite a while on the nails.

What are your favourite Spring/Summer nail polishes?
